Ear and Novemberal?

Got my first Ear moth ever this morning. Don't suppose without the chop it can be determined which?

Also a very plain example of the November/ Autumnal group I think?

  1. Hi Mark, yes I'm afraid that is a Satellite and your individual seems to be a bit of a hybrid between the standard form (those with white kidney mark and satellites) and the slightly less common one (with those markings in orange). You are correct with the other moth in that it is one of the November, Pale November & Autumnal group.
