Following John Langmaid's post on UKMoths this week about a late Straw Dot, I've just found one (attracted to a lighted window) in Walters Ash, Bucks. Is this a particularly late record in this area? My latest record before this was 18th Sept.
The Bucks database shows 60 records for October. 22 in 2014, latest on 30th 15 in 2009, latest 30th 1 in 2001 on 30th. However, 1972 has 1 for November 29th (none in October), from a reliable recorder.
