Prochoreutis myllerana? and Kent Black Arches

Two new moths for me last night.

I'm thinking the first is Prochoreutis myllerana on the basis of the extent of the white speckling - can someone confirm?

The other is Kent Black Arches - not sure how common they are around here.

  1. Hi Mark - I live in West Oxford in Long Hanborough and caught a Kent Black Arches in my trap last week. I had never seen one before!

  3. thanks both! Never really understood how the Kent Black Arches got it's name as it's nothing like a Black Arches.

  4. It is closely related to Small Black Arches, Scarce Black Arches & Least Black Arches.
