Based on previous confirmed records I'm pretty sure this is
Scrobipalpa ocellatella. I suspect the species may be breeding locally now, following the invasion of 2022, as this is the third year I have recorded it here.

ReplyDeleteYou may be correct but this doesn't look to me quite like a "classic" ocellatella and I'd be concerned that it might actually be atriplicella. Certainly one worth getting checked.
