Curiously marked?




Lots of moths arriving, among them this Large Yellow Underwing - I'm assuming, but I thought I'd post the pictures for possible comments as I don't recall seeing one with such white markings before.  All best, Martin Wainwright, Thrupp, Oxon.

    Hello Martin, that is quite a nicely marked specimen but the forewings on Large Yellow Underwing do seem to be incredibly variable!
