A really good night trapping at Linford Lakes on the outskirts of Milton Keynes. A field trip by the Buckinghamshire Invertebrate Group.
Several Earias clorana (Cream-bordered Green Pea) were recorded, a scarce species in VC24 .
Also this rather nice crambid which seems to be a good candidate for Catoptria verellus. I spotted this in my trap and potted it immediately as it it looked interesting, many thanks to Dave Wilton for flagging that it might be significant.
Several other good species seen by Dave too, which he will no doubt write about, so I won't steal his thunder.
