All sorts

Busy and varied here with a strongly-marked Pale Pinion. I'm still hunting the micro's ID and if a pug expert is passing...  Martin Wainwright, Thrupp, Oxon

  1. Hi Martin
Could we see a full size image of the black and white micro top right please?

  2. I'm no Pug expert, but I suggest that all are Brindled/Oak-tree Pugs from what I can see. All seem to have the bi-angulate post-median line with characteristic double 'arrowhead' near to the dorsum. The top left, for example with small narrow discal marks is likely a Brindled, while the bottom left likely an Oak-tree, both from the wing shape and the larger more rounded discal spots.
