Brindled Pug? and a mystery moth?

 Help requested with both of these. The 'Brindled Pug?' has a touch of green which makes me doubt it, and the other image . . . . .HELP!!

    I agree with Mark, a worn White-marked for the top one. The Pug does look rather more "colourful" than your average Brindled but I still think that's what it is!

  3. Many thanks, Mark and Dave. This is great news, as White-marked is a first for our local Commons, bringing our macro total up to 310 species. Thanks again.
