Lilac Beauty

On Monday night the garden trap produced Lilac Beauty (a couple of second generation males), September records of this lovely moth having been an almost annual feature here for more than ten years now.

Two micros from the same night which I took the time to photograph, even though they weren't new for the year, were a large Parsnip Moth Depressaria radiella and the smart spindle-feeding pyrale Nephopterix angustella.
