Combusta?

Further to Mark's interesting Clouded-bordered Brindles in Garsington, am I right in thinking that this one here in the lower altitudes of Thrupp, Oxon, is the form combusta?

Also, rather than take up space here, may I just say that if any expert has time to scan the Uninteresting Pugs Supplement (please forgive the title) on my own blog today, I would be most grateful.

Sunshine again, hooray now that I've almost caught up on my moth ID overload. Martin Wainwright

  1. Hello Martin, Yes, that's the dark form of Clouded-bordered Brindle. I find that they're almost as regular in the trap as the lighter form.
