Here is a micro mint moth which visited my garden today.
Hi Charles, you have a choice between two of the so-called "Mint Moths", either Pyrausta aurata or Pyrausta purpuralis. They're both reasonably common and are flying now. Thanks Dave. I guessed it was pyrausta aurata as the images online of Pyrausta purpuralis seem much more purplish.
