At Millbrook Mead (VC23) on 4th May in 8W actinic - Cinnabar, Green Carpet, Mottled Pug, Common Swift and a Tissue moth being the highlight amongst a modest catch of 13 species.

At Bagley Woods (VC22) on 6th May: White Ermine, Buff Ermine, Spectacle, Brown Silver-line, Poplar Hawkmoth, Orange Footman, Pebble Hook-tip, Scalloped hook-tip, Tawny-barred Angle, Scalloped Hazel, Grey Pine Carpet, Green Silver-lines, Adela reaumurella and Cochylis atricapitana were all new for year for me in another modest, but diverse catch comprimising relatively few individuals but 35 species.
Also had a pair of White Ermines in garden trap last night along with first garden Pale Tussock. Marc Botham, Benson
