A little Help

After thinking I'm getting ok at micro id's these turn up and totally confuse me again, the first i think is correct but would be grateful of confirmation.
Clepsis consimilana?





couldn't find the other 4 in the book. They all look like they should be easy to id.

Other garden NFY's this week are, Batia unitella, Small Blood-vein and Varied Coronet(28th), Vapourer, Lozotaenia forsterana and NFS Gypsonoma sociana(29th), Yellowshell, Large Twin-spot Carpet and Fan-foot(30th). Swallowtailed Moth, Marbled Beauty, Dot Moth, Poplar Lutestring, Maple Prominent and Ditula angustiorana(1st July), Lackey, Cloaked Minor and Clouded Border(2nd) and last Night Common Emerald, Elephant HawkMoth, Poplar Grey, Elophila nymphaeata and Yponomeuta evonymella(3rd).

New for site Gypsonoma sociana legged it before i got a photo.

  1. Good morning Darren, here's what I think they are: Clepsis consimilana, Celypha lacunana, Ancylis achatana, Cnephasia species and Scythropia crataegella.

  2. Thank you Peter, I should've got the Scythropia as I had one last year, I skipped past the Yponomeutidae page as it wasn't spotty. A lesson learnt, I need to look at every moth in the book. The Ancylis achatana looks totally different in the field guide and ukmoths so would never have got that.
