I would say your caddis is Glyphotaelius pellucidus - male. The wing shape narrows down the possibilities and the markings and timing (slightly early) are correct and it is a common species.
Not sure about the pugs, Andy. From the photo the second one looks to me like Oak-tree and I would have said the same for the first based on colouring and shape but on that one the discal spot isn't as obvious as I'd expect.
I agree with Martin on that very distinctive caddis. I had my first pellucidus of the year here on the 18th so they're definitely about now.
