Small mystery

Catches continue to be quite sizeable in my garden in Wolvercote, Oxfordshire, irrespective of quite boisterous thunderstorms the last two nights; and I've already broken the record for the number of species in a year in this garden. The micro below is giving me a little trouble - I assumed perhaps an Ancylis species, but nothing in the relevant book is looking right: any suggestions welcome!

  1. Could be a dark form of Epinotia nisella?

  2. Thanks, Martin - that's one of the species I'd been glancing at. Looks plausible to me.
