Some micros to check

 The first was caught on 5th September. I think it is Hedya pruniana but seems a little late in the year.


The next two were caught at Lamb's Pool BBOWT reserve on 7th September


The first looks like an Acleris species. (8.5mm in length)

I think the second is probably Epinotia nisella (8mm in length)

    I think you'll find the first is an Endothenia so would need dissection to get to species. I suspect the Acleris is the quite variable rhombana even though the usually obvious hooked wing-tips of that species aren't clearly visible in your picture. I'm not really sure about the last one as the image is so dark but Epinotia nisella does seem likely.

    1. Many thanks. The Endothenia makes more sense and I did get marginana last September but I will get it checked as I still have the moth.
