Eight species in the moth trap last night (Goring Heath, S. Oxon) including this lovely Acleris cristana which sat still long enough for a close up.
You are obviously in a very good spot, Charles ... I haven't seen eight moth species yet this year. Around here in the Aylesbury flat-lands they need snorkels!
Thanks Dave; I was a bit surprised by the catch; it included a rather early Hebrew Character.
