The State of Britain's Larger Moths 2021

This new report on the state of Britain's macro-moths, which uses data from the National Moth Recording Scheme (in other words, from you) and the Rothamsted Insect Survey light-trap network, is available for download from the Butterfly Conservation website at the link here.

While it is a bit of a mixed picture, overall the story is mostly of continued declines, with the main causes thought to be habitat destruction, farming practices, climate change and light pollution.
