Westcott, Bucks

The previous week's activity proved to be a bit of a false dawn because over the last seven nights there have been two blanks and on the other five very little to show for the effort put in.  Clouded Drab, Common Quaker & Hebrew Character have continued to appear in small numbers but they haven't been joined yet by any of the other Orthosia species (I would have expected to see Small Quaker at least by now).  The only new moths for the site year-list have been a Grey Shoulder-knot on 28th February and Endrosis sarcitrella (the White-shouldered House Moth) found indoors on 3rd March.
