A Blog for moth recorders in Bucks, Berks and Oxon
Hi Steve, it is Cydia splendana.
Not Pammene fasciana? :)
Well spotted Marc.
...and we were just talking last night about the dangers of commenting here in the early hours when you're half asleep!
Thank you all. One small illustration in a book is a good starting point but with so many small variations advice is sought. By pulling up multiple images on the web and comparing and contrasting it then, hopefully, to beginners like myself, helps to improve knowledge and make the right decision. All the best, Pammene fasciana it is.
