In the brief interludes of clear weather during last night a few moths found their way to my garden traps. Among a spattering of the normal Orthosias and a single Brindled Pug there were 2 Swallow Prominents, 1 Pebble Prominent, 2 Chinese Characters, a Nut-tree Tussock, Shuttle-shaped Dart, Knot Grass, Waved Umber, Bright-line Brown-eye and
Eudonia angustea, making it a fairly nice and diverse catch despite the downpour.
