2 Chocolate-tips in trap this morning - first for year. Was expecting a better catch as weather seemed to have improved somewhat, but numbers were still low. Was nice to see a trio of Nut-tree Tussocks though - I don't usually catch many of these in the garden, in fact I've never caught first generation individuals before, but I've already had quite a few this year so far and even caught one in the Rothamsted trap at work which was of the melanic form f.
