It's too quiet...
Really not much doing at the moment, although the sunny weather over the weekend did bring out a few garden butterflies, and notably a Green-veined White. The sum total of last night's moth trapping was the poorly-photographed micro (always assuming it is a moth!) below: it's not only not a very good photo, but also not taken at a very good angle - nonetheless, does anyone have any suggestions for ID? I can only assume that we need a few muggy, cloudy nights to get things moving again. Steve and Xander Goddard.

Hi Steve, it is a Gracillariid, possibly something like Aspilapteryx tringipennella, but it would need a better picture to be sure!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Dave: fair enough -- as soon as I saw how the photos had turned out, I suspected it would be One That Got Away!
