Pinions from the Frozen North of the Region

Apologies for the late post, but this is my first experimental blog after recently joining the group. I have been recording moths in my Stoke Goldington garden, North Bucks (2 miles from Salcey Forest, and the Northants border) using mainly a Robinson Mercury Vapour trap for the last 10 years. Not to be out-done by the Pinion-fest further south, in true London Bus form, no Pinion for 10 years, and 2 come along at once (30th March). If I'm not mistaken: one of each Tawny and Pale. Opinions welcomed.  Keith Mitchell

Tawny Pinion?
Pale Pinion?

  1. Looks like one of each to me, fantastic, and how nice to get both together like that. BW, Marc
