Last night (31st) I had my earliest ever Canary-shouldered Thorn, a good 4 weeks earlier than previous. New for my garden micros this week are Gypsonoma dealbana, I managed to kill it to stop it escaping, lucky it says common in the book. Also Pyrausta purpuralis and Agriphila straminella. I think I must have had straminella before, probably this year but didn't check the C culmella closely, just assumed they were all the same species.
NFY's this week are Least Carpet, Straw Underwing, Agriphila tristella (27th), Old Lady and Gothic(28th), White Satin Moth, Shaded Broad-bar and Slender Brindle (29th).
