Hummingbird Hawk moth, juveniles
A few weeks back my wife and i were at Grangelands, and Jo found a fully grown Hummingbird Hawk larva on Lady's bedstraw - a lucky find! I took it home and within a few hours it was preparing for pupation - this photo shows the eye of the moth forming through the pupal shell, and it will probably hatch in about a weeks' time.
