Looking through my photos from July, I found this. It looks to me like Endotricha flammealis. Am I right, and is it at all unusual around here (Chesham, Bucks).
Yes, definitely flammealis. It's unusual in the jaunty way that it 'stands up straight', but it is considered common, indeed often abundant, in this part of England.
