Palpita vitrealis

A pleasant surprise among last night's fairly meagre catch especially as the winds seem to have been mostly from the North over recent days.

  1. Very nice - I haven't even had my annual Vestal yet! Last night was actually surprisingly good in the garden here for some reason (26 species) but it was almost entirely the expected seasonal fayre.

  2. 26 seems a very good catch for the time of year. Only 11 species here but certainly better that the previous few nights. It does seem amazing that something so delicate can migrate over such large distances.
