On the same night that Richard Ellis added the pyralid Musotima nitidalis (Golden-brown Fern Moth) to the Buckinghamshire county list (see Richard's blog post), Dave Carter found the first for Berkshire. This is from 9 November 2020, near Windsor (and very close to the Bucks border).

This moth has caterpillars that feed on a variety of ferns, and is native to Australia and New Zealand. Yet another species that humans have transported around the world.
