No less than 41 December Moths in the Robinson Trap at Goring Heath, South Oxon last night (garden surrounded by ash and beech woods). Two Diamond-back Moths and a Silver Y also present.
Was that 41 actually in the trap? I find that there are often just as many spread around within a radius of two or three metres from the trap as there individuals actually in it!

Thanks Dave; it was 38 in the trap itself and 3 on the lawn around it, but I didn't search exhaustively so there may have been more.
