Tufty


I am pretty sure that this is Acleris cristana with its perky tufts (though sadly not the 'lizard' shape from above which seems to mark many of them). But I'd like to check because of my faltering ID skills.  Plenty still arriving here - Sprawler and December moth in good quantities, Silver Y, Red-green Carpet, Red-line Quaker, November/Pale November et al - but none of the luscious newcomers so happily recorded on recent posts here.     Yes, that is indeed one of the many forms of Acleris cristana.
