Mompha subbistrigella or sturnipennella?

Both would be new to me, and the scale shows that it's about 5mm long. This is my only photo - couldn't get the side view. Am I even on the right track?? It came to light last night.

Best wishes, David

  1. Hi David,
You are on the right track and it is almost certainly subbistrigella but I can't be certain from the photo. Mompha sturnipennella is a very rare moth in Bucks.
