Pammene giganteana in Cookham
Following on from Dave's post about Pammene giganteana, I retrieved the FUN and MOL lures from my freezer. I tried both yesterday without luck, but today I tried the MOL lure again and a single Pammene giganteana arrived in the early afternoon. So, a new moth for my garden list as well.

Well done Steve. I've been out and about with the MOL lure over the past couple of days and found quite a few more sites for it locally. One of them was on the west side of Aylesbury just off the A41 where I set up the pheromone trap under a single hedgerow oak with no other trees in the immediate area and got the moth within two minutes. It would seem that it is not restricted to woodland.
