New Moths for the year...

My GMS session last night comprised a grand total of 6 moths, but they were all new for my year list; Light Brown Apple Moth, Yellow-barred Brindle, Scorched Carpet, Purple Thorn, Common Pug and Scalloped Hazel.

Also, I had three cockchafers, so at least I've beaten Mr Wilton on something :) ...

Plus, at the Burial Park the other day, I found this looper caterpillar on birch. Can anyone tell me what it is likely to become (barring, of course, the possibility of it becoming a blue tit's lunch...)
