Another blasted Pug.

Yes - another in my trap last night together with a very dull looking thing with, as far as I can see, virtually no distinguishing features.





Also, slightly easier a Bee Moth and a Common Wave.

  1. Pugs can be tricky to id at the best of times and often you need to find someone willing to chop them for you. This one looks like a Common Pug, you can make out the white line just before the termen and most noticeable close to the tornus area. The other moth looks like a Minor and does need chopping to get to species level.
