First micros



Another nice warm night brought the best guest-list of the year so far, including Common Swift, Treble-bar, Bright-line brown-eye, Lime-speck pug inter alia. I am working away at IDs but thought I'd post pics of the three micros - sorry to overstep the photo limit Dave but I've sized them 'small' instead of 'medium' - because I really am shaky at micro-sorting. Great to read about that new tortrix btw. Congratulations!  Martin Wainwright, Thrupp, Oxon

    Hello Martin, the first is Elachista apicipunctella and the last is Agonopterix arenella. I suppose the middle one has to be Celypha lacunana even though the colour looks a bit odd!
