At last a decent catch

Garden trap at Tilehurst last night produced 81 Moths and 32 Species. 26 were Heart and Dart !
Hawkmoths were 1 Elephant, 2 Privet and 1 Small Elephant. Nothing else very unusual.

Just a couple I would like confirmation of ID please.
Maybe a Grass Rivulet and the other a mystery Pug.

  1. I'd go along with Grass Rivulet and Freyer's Pug, Tony. The latter has quite 'pointy' wings (compared to, say, the similar-sized Grey Pug which is common at the moment) but the clincher is the dark band around the abdomen.
