From 2010 to 2014 the Bucks records were mostly from July (including 1st) and some in August. 2016 was again mostly July and some in August, but also had the first ever September record on the 25th. This year has now surpassed that with the recent dark form posted a few days ago and Robin's record from the 2nd October. Could these recent ones be a second brood? and for the first time
Here in Cookham (VC22) I had a single Cydalima perspectalis last night in the garden trap, but last Thursday (28 September) I had 10 individuals in the trap. It is clearly now well established in the area.
