A Blog for moth recorders in Bucks, Berks and Oxon
Hello Steve, I'm afraid that's just Carcina quercana which has had quite a strong second brood this year. Do keep an eye out for Tachystola acroxantha though because it is multi-brooded and as it happens I found one on our ivy blossom last night.
Thanks Dave, I thought it didn't feel quite right.
I've had one here just a short way away in May.
