Could this be . . . . .

 . . . . . a Cypress Pug, and if so, is it unusual? I don't normally try my luck with worn pugs, but this one does seem to be 'doable'! Confirmation requested, please! David Dennis

  1. Hi David, yes it is a Cypress Pug. It's a fairly recent arrival (late 50s/early 60s) and is spreading, not sure on density in the UTB area. Where are you?

    In Chorleywood, also on the Herts/Bucks border, I've had 5 Cypress Pug in August and 9 in September so far this year, definitely becoming more common here.
