Yponomeuta sp.

I wondered whether this could be whittled down to species based on flight season. In my field guide there don't seem to be many that are still around beyond early September.

  1. I've had four of these unidentifiable Yponomeutas in the garden so far during September, Janice, the most recent on the 15th, so they do seem to have gone on a bit longer than normal this year. However I still think they need rearing from larvae found on the appropriate food-plant to stand a chance of getting an acceptable record.
