Caloptilia query

 I think this has to be Caloptilia rufipennella, but would appreciate confirmation or otherwise as I haven't managed to find any other images with such striking lilac hues.



Also on a violet theme, this (I assume) Argyresthia albistria  is also more strongly marked than anything I can find elsewhere. Perhaps my camera is over-saturating violet!?

    Hi Phil,
    I'd agree with both IDs. The Caloptilia has to be rufipennella with those mottled chocolate-brown femurs.
