I realise that genitalia inspection is recommended for Dichrorampha sp, but based on the table in the new Micro Moth Field Guide, I think this can be definitely identified on visual features as Dichrorampha acuminatana. The costal fold to 1/3 cuts it down to five species, The dorsal blotch is triangular and dirty white, which cuts it down to acuminatana and alpestrana, and the cilia are clearly grey with a white central band.
However I have retained it for checking if necessary, and perhaps I need to check the underside of the forewing to be absolutely sure?
Thanks
