Despite quite warm conditions, a smallish turnout at our actinic garden trap in Wolvercote, Oxfordshire, last night; but pleasing to have a couple of Pale Prominent, of which we're fond, and, crawling around in the grass yesterday evening, a Lunar Marbled Brown; which, by the look of it, we should have had before (as the Bible says it's quite common), but in fact we haven't; and which makes our 500th garden species.
