Endothenia gentianaeana

I collected 4 last year's teasel heads in April from a private site in Bledlow Ridge, Bucks; in the hope of getting Endothenia gentianaeana. Sure enough, 2 specimens emerged over the last week. I'm still waiting for the spruce bud-moth Cydia strobilella, to emerge from spruce cones collected in Radnage, but no luck so far.

  1. Hi Ched, the chances are that it is gentianaeana but did you rule out marginana which can also feed within teasles?
