Happy days are here again

Smiles all round here in Thrupp, Oxon, where last night's catch was at last a big and interesting one with Lunar Marbled Brown, Buff Ermine, Ruby Tiger, Shuttle-shaped Dart and Brimstone Moth all new for the year, and plenty of faithful Brindled Beauties, Quakers and Drabs in attendance. Plus the pug and tortrix below on both of which I would appreciate guidance. My guess for the pug would be Golden Rod.  Martin Wainwright

  1. Hello Martin, the pug might well be Oak-tree but I wouldn't like to say for sure. There are others around now (I had Common Pug at home last night) but Golden-rod isn't all that common and you might be being a bit optimistic with that as the ID!
