Micro on waterlily

Can this little chap resting on a waterlily leaf in the garden be confirmed as a Psychoides filicivora? There are plenty of ferns (the larval host plant) in the garden.

  1. On second thoughts I think it could be Esperia sulphurella.

    1. Yes indeed, a male Esperia sulphurella. The female is slightly prettier, having an obvious yellow streak from the base of the forewing almost as far as the yellow triangular marking (well illustrated at http://ukmoths.org.uk/species/esperia-sulphurella/adult/).
