Migrants

The good weather over the past week has brought in a handful of common migrant species.  I've had Plutella xylostella/Diamondback Moth (9th May) and Nomophila noctuella/Rush Veneer (11th May) here in the garden and there have been reports elsewhere of Gem and Dark Sword-grass too.  Of more interest, though, is what appears to be a mini-invasion of Cydia strobilella backed up by unusually good numbers of home-bred examples (see Andy King's blog here).  One to keep an eye out for over the next few days.
