COAM Moths

First proper session at Chiltern Open Air Museum with Rob Payne and Andy King last night resulted in quite a few newly-emerged NFYs.

There are a few things still being looked at by Andy, but at the moment the list is 67 moths of  29 species.

The new for year (in order of sighting) included Red-green Carpet, Agonopterix purpurea, Oak-tree Pug, Oak Nycteoline, Alucita hexadactyla, Nut-tree Tussock, Adela reaumurella, Peppered Moth, Lesser Swallow Prominent, Muslin, Least Black ArchesSemioscopis steinkellneriana and V Pug.

(V Pug plus Streamer)

A few of those are new for the site as well.

No sign of any Emperors, though :(
