It is a Depressaria species but I'd say that's sufficiently interesting to hang on to, Andy. The size you quote would be very small for the most likely candidate (radiella, the Parsnip Moth), it doesn't look quite right for daucella, but ultimella would fit size-wise and is therefore a distinct possibility. D.ultimella isn't common but I've had it in the garden here a few times, confirmed by dissection.
